Rube Goldberg meets the invention age
This is the Invention Age. It took over 30 years of Qualcomm's mobile leadership and unlocking 5G to get here. To celebrate its arrival, and showcase Qualcomm’s commitment to inspiring the next generation of inventors, we partnered with a team of talented FIRST students to reimagine the Rube Goldberg machine. Combining Qualcomm Snapdragon technology, teamwork, and creativity, we made the impossible, possible—literally. This initiative was complimented by teaser films syndicated across social platforms and behind the scenes content too.

The Qualccom experiential cube
To demonstrate Qualcomm’s foundational role in developing 5G technology at high profile events like CES and Mobile World Congress, we built a giant, immersive cube. It used light, motion and abstract animation to help people understand Qualcomm’s contributions to 2G, 3G, 4G, and now, 5G technology. This traveling 360° audiovisual experience helped Qualcomm dominate the conversation around 5G at high profile tech events.
